Total Network Inventory 2 Review
If you are a system admin or just looking for a computer hardware inventory software, Total Network Inventory 2 will do a good job for you. Easily map out your existing network hardware. You can install and run this software on the server itself or even from any of the workstations on the network. What’s great about this is that is supports Windows, Mac OSX and Linux machines, so even if you have all these types on your network, Total Network Inventory 2 will be able to give you a precise inventory list.
The reporting is great by offering different types of reports based on data categories. Easily build out table reports which include hundreds of fiels based on the TNI 2 data model. From this the reports can be printed, exported/saved, or even copied for others to use.
Keep proper documentation of all of your software and licencing. Total Network Inventory 2 will scan each device and make a software list that each device has installed. From this you can be sure that you are in compliance that you have the proper licencing on all software that is used within the network.
Create a scheduler and just let the software run on specific days or times that you want it to run. How easy is it to set it and just check it once a week. In addition you can keep track of all of the passwords used within the network, follow online status of any asset in real time, and create a database of all users within the network.
If you need network management in your office or setup. I would recommend taking a look at the new Total Network Inventory 2 software from Soft Inventive.
