Slow-Mo Cam by Lucky Clan out for iPhone 5, 5C and 5S
One of the features on the iPhone 5s that possibly would get video grabber’s some sense of jealousy if they have the older model of the iPhone, is to capture video in slow motion. Such video grabbers or creators need not despair much more for an app has been recently released which gives this feature to the older models too. In particular, users of iPhone 5 can use this app by Lucky Clan to record video at 60 frames per second though the same app can record video at 120 fps in the iPhone 5s.
The app does not come for free, though it costs just $1.99. It is available at iTunes App Store for download. Along with the feature of taking video in slow motion, the app also gives the user ability to set focus and exposure time. User would also be able to create the video in the background while other apps are open in the foreground. The captured file is available across other applications or devices running iOS 7, thereby making it easy for instant sharing using other application running on iOS.
While the ability to take slow motion video is possible with the iPhone 5 with the help of this app, users of iPhone 4 and 4s are going to miss out on this nice addition to the OS. The limitation of the camera that is installed on these iPhone 4 and 4s devices prevents the use of this app- I think that’s called fragmentation?
The feature of taking slow motion video has been available on other smartphone’s like that of the HTC One or the Samsung Galaxy S4. But Apple has only recently added this feature to their iPhone 5s. The third part app however makes the usage of the camera for such an activity much easier than that it is on the HTC and Samsung devices as we prefer the UI of the App
