Nexus_5_DiagramEven though the Nexus 5 has not been officially unveiled, lots of information are about the handset is doing rounds on the web. That means even though you heard and read a lot about the Nexus 5, you still do not know it yet properly. A recently leaked information coming from Android Police almost reveals everything about the Nexus 5.

The source that we are talking about was able to access leaked internal service manual. The leaked information clearly reveals the line drawings of Nexus 5. The leaked information also reveals the internal specifications of the phone that powers up the Nexus 5. As expected, Google is offering powerful specs on the Nexus 5. If you have already purchased the iPhone 5S, may be you will be regretting your decision when you learn more about the Nexus 5.

The Nexus 5 gets its horsepower from the powerful Snapdragon quadcore 800 processor that is capable of producing a clocking speed of 2.3GHz. It is coupled with 2GB RAM. The phone comes with an impressive internal storage of 32GB. Like all the predecessor Nexus smartphones, even the Nexus 5 does not come with external storage support.

As far as the design of the phone is concerned, it appears quite similar to the LG G2 handset which has been recently launched in many countries across the world. The Nexus 5 has got a large 4.95inch IPS technology display screen. At the front side above the display, there is a 1.3MP camera that is good enough for video calling. At the back side, it houses an 8MP camera. The camera on the Nexus 4 had disappointed its customers. We hope that this time around, Google packs in a good quality camera.

When it comes to connectivity, the Nexus 5 offers you features like Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC and LTE connectivity. The Nexus 5 supports CDMA which means it will work on Verizon’s and Sprint’s networks. The handset also supports UMTS and GSM which means that there is good chance for the handset to arrive on T-Mobile and AT&T’s network.

Yes, it is true. Thanks to the leaked service manual, we can confirm that the next Nexus smartphone is an LG product. LG D820 is the model number of the Nexus 5 device from Google. The LG Nexus 5 is powered by a massive 2300mAh battery. According to the leaked information, it has been found that the dimensions of Nexus 5 have been kept more or less same as that of Nexus 4.

What is not confirmed yet is that whether the Nexus 5 will come with Android 4.4 KitKat. Google has been always known to offer pure Android experience by offering virgin version of Android OS exclusively on Nexus devices. Still rumors are not denying the fact that the Nexus 5 will come with Android 4.4 KitKat onboard. No matter through which carrier you get the Nexus 5, Google will exclusively offer updates for Nexus users.

As of now, there is no concrete information on the pricing of Nexus 5. Also, it is unknown about when the Nexus 5 will be made available. Some speculate the Nexus 5 will arrive on Oct 14 with Android 4.4 KitKat rumored to release on the same day. However, other sources claim that the Nexus 5 will arrive in November with a price tag of 400USD without contract. With a lower price tag, Google would be aiming to capitalize on the holiday season and steal the limelight from the iPhone 5S.
