Sony will add a HDMI 1.3 port to the 20GB PS3

In possible response to Microsoft bringing 1080p HD resoultion to their XBox 360 unit, Sony announces that they will in addition to the 60GB PS3, also be including a HDMI 1.3 port to the 20GB PS3. Originally only the 60GB PS3 was going to have the port which will allow playback of Blu Ray movies without a quality sacrafice.
PS3 units will start shipping in November to Japan and the USA, units will hit Europe later in 2007.
